Upon receiving your Stressless® furniture,
you'll find an information packet stored beneath
the ottoman. Included in this packet are
one-time-use leather protection cream, information
about your new Stressless® product, information
about leather, and a Limited Warranty Registration
Form which needs to be completed and mailed to
Ekornes.
Ekornes® warrants all Stressless® products
against manufacturing or material defects as follows:
10 year warranty:
• Stressless® reclining
mechanism (includes friction guide and knob assembly,
the slide bar, and PlusTM
Assembly)
• Interior
steel tubular frame and spring
5 year warranty:
• Wood
laminate base for chair and ottoman (includes
swivel ring on chair)
• All foam and interior
padding in chair and ottoman
1 year warranty:
• Leather
upholstery (including stitching and zippered
assemblies)
Note: Leather is
a natural product. It requires regular maintenance
to insure long wear
and to retain its good appearance. Natural
markings, such as scars from
the animal, insect bites, stretch marks, etc.,
are not considered defects.
Warranty Exclusions
Leather:
Fading and color-fastness;
roughness caused by exposure to heat or sunlight;
any damage caused by failure to clean and maintain
regularly or by use of chemicals cleaners or
any cleaner and conditioner not recommended by
Ekornes®; any damage caused
by misuse, abuse, contact with domestic pets or
other animals; any damage caused by spills of food,
drink, or any liquids; any damage caused by saturation
with sweat or other body fluids.
Padding:
Some deformation and indentation
is considered normal and is part of the break-in
process. Any
damage from fluids penetrating through the upholstery
is excluded by the warranty.
General: Any damage caused by
moving, alteration, unauthorized repair, abuse,
negligence, etc.
Note:
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser.
Ekornes® and Circle Furniture reserve the right to repair
or replace the defective merchandise in part or completely.
All warranty claims must processed through Circle Furniture,
which acts as a representative for Ekornes® in warranty
related matters.
