Before joining Circle, I enjoyed 15+ years in the fabric business as a visual stylist, creative director, manager, and marketer. I love putting together fabrics, colors, and patterns in unexpected combinations. My design advice? Start with something simple you love: a painting, a photo from a vacation, a ceramic bowl, a favorite old shirt you can’t part with, or just a paint color that’s calling out to you. We’ll consider your spaces and assemble rooms that are comfortable, welcoming, and reflect your own unique style. Outside of work you’ll find me knitting, battling the New York Times crossword, biking, baking, and rescuing vintage pieces.
I have a B.S. in Textile Design from Syracuse University, and have 20 years’ experience in the Fashion Industry, designing home and apparel. My skills are cross-functional and I have a natural eye for color, texture, and creating beautiful spaces. Because of my background in fashion, I’m an expert in fabric and color and I love working on design projects with clients. When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my two teenage children.
"My husband and I were shopping for a couch and met with Michelle Roseman in the Acton store. She was great to work with - offered suggestions but was not pushy at all. Very patient when I changed my mind and went in a complete other direction! Would highly recommend working with her!" - Paula P.
With 17 years of experience here at Circle Furniture, my design style has evolved a lot. The style that speaks to me most is classic modern with a touch of nostalgia. I believe in finding pieces that provide form and function but are also beautiful. I’m relentless when it comes to finding the right fabric or item you're looking for. My favorite part about working here is that each day is a new canvas! Outside of work, I enjoy a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc w/ cheese and crackers.
"Great experience at Circle in Acton. Great store and staff. Renee and Kelly were super helpful and accommodating while we sat in every single chair in the store. Absolutely recommended." - John R.
I studied art, architecture, and interior design in both high school and college. I’m also a certified cosmetologist. This allowed me to study color theory and chemistry, which are practical in all areas of art and design. I previously worked as a kitchen and bath designer where I was certified through the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association). I’ve worked as a merchandising manager and, over the past few years, as a design consultant.
