Meet Our Designers

Tina Owens

Design Consultant

I took my first interior design course in high school and have been hooked ever since! I pride myself on making the design process a true collaboration. It is based on the client’s lifestyle, taste, and budget, and I am the conduit that brings it all together through color, pattern, and texture. I moved to New England from North Carolina with my family and 2 dogs. When I’m not designing beautiful spaces I enjoy spending time with family, gardening, and reading. The beach is my happy place!

Noelle Chichester

Design Consultant

After college, I opened a flower shop in Portsmouth; ever since, color and beauty have filled my days. Wanderlust caused me to sell my shop and move abroad. Many design-oriented jobs and travel adventures later, I’m back home and thrilled to be here at Circle Furniture. It is a joy for me to make rooms come to life with our wonderful selection of contemporary furnishings and classic pieces with modern functionality. I love color, texture, and details and will gladly help you select great accent pieces to showcase your personal style. When all is said and done, I believe our home should make our heart sing, “There’s no place like home.”

Hannah Pasquale

Design Consultant

I believe that your home environment can affect both your emotional and physical wellbeing. In my own home, I prioritize home furnishings that are non-toxic, sustainable, high quality, and beautiful and I’m proud to work for a company that shares these values. An artist by degree and a designer by experience, my background is in art history, visual art, and residential design. One of my favorite parts of working with clients is problem-solving, space planning, and using pieces that support how you live and serve multiple functions whenever possible. In my designs, I prioritize function as much as aesthetics. When I am not in the showroom, I enjoy the restoration design projects that come with owning my 1820’s home, walks in the woods with my rescue hound-mix pups, painting, and playing Scattergories with my husband, and two daughters.

"We have been a customer of Circle Furniture for almost 20 years. On a recent visit to the Portsmouth location, Hannah helped us design just the right look for what we hoped with our new home. She is professional, incredibly patient, and has a great eye for design." - Giovanna C.

Cindy Rubenfeld

Store Manager

I’ve been interested in design since high school, and I got my degree in Interior Design at Endicott. I love working with texture and color and enjoy all the elements that go into creating a great design. Outside of work, I do fundraising for local charities and have sat on the boards of the Jeannie Geiger Crisis Center and the Anna Jaques Community Health Foundation. I love spending time with family and taking care of my garden. Being an earth sign, I look for design in all that surrounds me.

"Great store. Cindy Rubenfeld extremely knowledgeable and very helpful." - Al B.

Jo-Anne Lucas

Design Program Manager

My true passion is collaborating with clients and helping create a home that’s comfortable for their family and friends. It’s not just about finding the right couch or dining room table, but helping them visualize how a whole room can come together. One of my favorite projects was when I collaborated with the 14-year-old son who wanted to learn what it takes to be an interior designer. Together we transformed a living room that his parents absolutely loved! Outside of work, I live the creative life. This journey either takes me to art galleries, creating art, writing and reading, visiting vintage stores for inspiration, or rearranging my home décor for a whole new look!
