I have a BFA in Textile Design from UMass, and I’m passionate about helping clients find the perfect solution to their design challenges, big or small. I believe there are no “design rules” because there are always exceptions. Each space is unique and should be a combination of aesthetics and comfort. I love Circle because of our focus on color, locally sourced high-quality items, and customization options. Outside of work, I like to spend time with my husband, my children, and my new grandson. I also love going for walks, hitting the gym, and dining with friends and family.
“Thank you, Ann Marie, for your outstanding expertise, knowledge, guidance, kindness, and patience!! 5 years ago, we walked into Circle only to buy a file cabinet. We walked out having purchased a file cabinet, a dining room cabinet, and, most amazingly, a sofa that made my long-aching back actually feel good!! I’d only been able to sit on a hardback chair for several years, and that was with varying degrees of pain. My back and I are so grateful to you every day as I sit pain-free on that sofa and the 2 matching chairs we added!! With our 7 pieces, Arnie and I are all set for now, but when the time comes that we need to add or replace any furnishings, we’ll be so happy to go directly to you!!” - Sandy S.
I have a B.S. in Textile Design from Syracuse University, and have 20 years’ experience in the Fashion Industry, designing home and apparel. My skills are cross-functional and I have a natural eye for color, texture, and creating beautiful spaces. Because of my background in fashion, I’m an expert in fabric and color and I love working on design projects with clients. When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my two teenage children.
"Michelle is a wonderful designer! Not only does she have a great sense of color, skill in creating furniture combinations that look good, and extensive knowledge of a wide array of merchandise, but working with her is a true pleasure. After several unsuccesful attempts to find a designer, I stopped at Circle Furniture in Framingham. I found furniture that I loved and a designer who listened to my prefrences and was able to translate them into terrific looking rooms at a reasonable price point. I recommend her without reservation to customers who want help redesigning either a large or small space." - Judy G
I studied art, architecture, and interior design in both high school and college. I’m also a certified cosmetologist. This allowed me to study color theory and chemistry, which are practical in all areas of art and design. I previously worked as a kitchen and bath designer where I was certified through the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association). I’ve worked as a merchandising manager and, over the past few years, as a design consultant.
