I don't know about you but I am a total klutz when it comes to making any holiday decorations or making my home look festive for any holiday.   You may have noticed how a lot of households go "all out" when decorating the outside of their home and I'm not just talking about Christmas.   Right now we are in total Halloween frenzy with the witches and the carved pumpkins. I'm happy to report that I have not seen any of those  awful  inflatable decorations yet this year. This past Saturday the folks at  Circle Furniture brushed off their dancing shoes and partied down! Yes, we were celebrating our annual holiday bash as we do every year, but this one was particularly special. Why It was so much fun to say goodbye to 2009. DESIGNER'S NOTEBOOK This Week's Contributer: Christine Cellucci "Over the years, my partner and I have inherited a number of holiday ornaments"¦little objects of affection from our childhoods. Originally purchased at the local Woolworths, these mid-century bobbles glitter, shimmer and sparkle in 1950's tradition. Although they do not quite fit into our holiday decorating scheme they do evoke a myriad of childhood memories, and if the truth be told, their sheer tackiness is heartwarming. This year I have finally figured out a way to display our collection; I filled a glass vase-like cylinder with them and placed the arrangement on my dining table, as a center-piece.
