Cambridge Showroom Manager

Circle Furniture is looking for a home furnishings professional to join our leadership team as our Cambridge Store Manager. If you possess the qualifications to lead a talented team of Design Consultants by mentoring, coaching and training, and you’re passionate about design, sales and providing an awesome customer experience, then we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall management of the store
  • Manage and coach team of Design Consultants to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Lead team by example by mentoring and training on sales techniques, mastering product knowledge, building customer relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate and train staff on interior design and assist on home calls
  • Oversee the accuracy and completeness of all sales orders and ensure all store materials are current
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with Design Consultants and management
  • Track and communicating key performance measurements for the store to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


  • Home Furnishings and/or Interior Design experience.
  • Five+ years in retail sales management. Experience managing a team on commission a plus.
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and good business sense.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and sales skills.
  • Excited about fashion and color and a desire and ability to share skills and enthusiasm.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to travel to clients’ residence.
  • Ability to dress for success in a showroom environment.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Design Consultants

Circle Furniture is looking for individuals with retail sales experience who have an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for design, and love to "own their business." They know how to achieve results, appreciate the selling process, and value customer service. If you have the mindset and passion, we have a design consultant position available for you!
  • Build your business by prospecting with new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrate design skill, professional communication, and follow-up skills.

  • Two years proven retail experience desirable.
  • Design experience or degree helpful.

Warehouse & Operations:

Circle Furniture has part-time positions available on our operations team! The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving and prepping high-end furniture and accessories for delivery to customers’ homes and transfer to and from our warehouse and our 6 retail stores located in the greater Boston area. Circle Furniture is a family owned and operated business that’s small enough to offer the attention and family warmth you want but large enough to offer a professional environment with top pay and benefits.  To apply, send a resume to


  • This position includes receiving incoming merchandise, barcode labeling and scanning items onto shelves in the warehouse.
  • Items that are sold for delivery or on transfer to one of other locations are pulled from the shelves, opened, assembled and inspected prior to delivery or transfer.
  • Attention to detail is a must including understanding labels and matching labels with product
  • A clean and presentable appearance is required as there will be interaction with customers at this location.
  • All furniture must be handled with the utmost care.


  • A valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • The ability to lift 100 lbs
  • The ability to assemble furniture
  • Lift, carry, push, pull furniture and packages on a continuous and regular basis
  • Forklift experience a plus but not required
  • A set of tools (list will be supplied)
  • Previous furniture experience preferred
  • Performs other duties as assigned
