I've been a Design Consultant with Circle Furniture since 1999. My approach to design is casual and comfortable. I'm passionate about incorporating color mixed with patterns and textures to create an eclectic room that's fun and invites you to relax. I love putting together rooms with great lamps, rugs, and the oh-so-important throw pillows! If you envision a comfortable, casual and appealing room, please stop by and say hi. There's always lots of new pieces, fabrics, and accessories to see!
"Delighted with outcome! Recently worked with Betsy on space planning for a sitting room. She nailed it!" - Ross D.

My favorite part of the job is seeing my clients’ faces light up when the room comes together. My design philosophy centers around taking a room and transforming it into a functional and beautiful space they enjoy coming home to. I love working at Circle because it’s like being part of a family and not a corporation. Outside of work, I like to take beach walks with my husband and kids or work on art of any kind - from learning to paint mandala designs on rocks to painting acrylics on canvas.
"We stopped by without appointment to look at Stressless chairs. Joanna could not have been more helpful. She is very knowledgeable and professional, answering questions and letting us get our bearings. Also great selection of products in the showroom. We bought two. Thank you Joanna!" - Barbara L.

I'm delighted to be part of the Circle Furniture team, bringing my passion for crafting personalized living spaces that reflect the essence of New England coastal living. As someone deeply connected to the coast, I find endless inspiration in its landscapes, cuisine, and vibrant colors. Blending the coastal aesthetic with modern and traditional elements is where my passion truly shines. It's about creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also evoke a sense of place, a feeling of home. During my downtime, you'll likely find me cozied up with my two beloved dogs, savoring a cup of coffee. That feeling of comfort and warmth is what I strive to instill in every space I design. I aim to create environments that are as inviting as they are functional. As part of the vibrant team here at Circle Furniture, I'm committed to making the design process enjoyable and engaging for each of our valued customers. With a focus on exceptional service and personalized recommendations, I'm here to transform your vision into a reality that exceeds your expectations. Let's dive into this creative exploration together!

I started my Interior Design career in Florida after receiving my Interior Design degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. I am a Vermont native who has completed two internships at local Vermont design firms. I enjoy working with clients to create designs that are functional and unique to each person’s vision. I love to incorporate bold colors, patterns, and textures in every project I work on. I am adept at space planning and furniture layouts. What excites me about design is bringing a client’s vision to life and exceeding their expectations. I believe the most important factor in design is client experience.

My passion for design was sparked early—my mother was an artist who inspired me to explore oil painting and historic architecture. I earned a degree in Business/Finance from The Ohio State University, a master’s in Organization Management from Carin University, and a minor in Fine Arts. After retiring from a career in Finance that allowed me to travel extensively, I took on a part-time role as a Designer for a high-end international retailer. Those travels, across the U.S. and abroad, shaped my appreciation for regional styles, color palettes, and the power of design to reflect culture and history. My wife and I also renovated our 1780 farmhouse in New Jersey, blending historic charm with family heirlooms and cottage garden landscaping. Today, I’m excited to be part of the Circle Furniture family. I’d love to help bring your home vision to life!
Great personal service. Took the time to be sure the item I wanted to purchase would be what I wanted when it got to my home. Tried many chairs and was advised on the merits and demerits of each chair based on my height, preferences on leathers, color but most of all my fit, to be sure my body would be positioned in the best way for back and leg comfort.

Bill Correia in the Pembroke location was my salesperson. He made the process so simple, instilling confidence in my choices and making everything run smoothly. The selection of furnishings and accessories at Circle gave me plenty of options - all the more so with Bill's knowledge about each piece I considered . I can't wait to see everything in my home!
